Chapter Two: The Next Chapter

2010 Wrap Up
2010 zipped by with a pitiful tally of just two posts to this poor, neglected blog. It was a busy year. And, as far as work goes, it was a tough year. But personally, I’m doing better than ever. I’m living with an incredible girl, I’m working on a couple of exciting projects at the moment, and I’ve got BIG plans for 2011.
Here are some highlights from 2010 that now reside in my newly-updated portfolio:
- My.Nature.Org – Design – Website design for the Nature Conservancy’s personalized My.Nature portal.
- Underground119.com – Design & Development – A WordPress-based website for Underground119, a neat little blues bar in Jackson.
- NetHack: TGGYWEP – Design & Development – A gushing one-page fan site for the greatest game you will ever play: NetHack.
Like I said, it was a slow year. There were numerous other projects completed throughout the year, but, for varying reasons, they don’t really belong on that list.
Throughout the year, I managed to adhere to the rules I detailed a mere two blog entries ago. And I feel good about that. I’m especially proud of myself for sticking with a passion project for the last few months. A passion project that I intend to see through to fruition before the end of this 2011. It’s pretty exciting…but I’m not ready to let the cat out of the bag just yet!
Big things are coming, and it’s going to be a great year.

Interesting page, and very pretty! A tiny nit-pick: inscribing "Elbereth" invokes (in the sense of calling upon someone, specifically in this instance, a god, for aid; a prayer is usually an invocatio...
